Interestingly Strange is a ghost comedy webcomic series written and illustrated by Syp The Mighty that centers on retail workers disgruntled with their jobs at a haunted grocery store. It is divided into three "eras" including Version 1, Deboot, and Redux, with Redux introducing storylines beginning with Phantom Pains.
In 2024, Syp made an extended re-released of the six story comics released during the Phantom Pains era, with new pages and artwork as well as dialogue alterations, after syndicating it to WEBTOON.

Storylines
Version 1
The original Interestingly Strange, retroactively referred to as Version 1, centered on two friends in a series of random comics with no plot or actual setting. Because of its random nature, there are no specials for this era and it's not considered an actual storyline.
Deboot
Deboot is the second Interestingly Strange storyline and the first to feature a proper setting, though there is no major overarching plot. This storyline mainly focused on two coworkers who have opposing views towards their job at Store Box. This storyline introduced the primary characters of Interestingly Strange going forward, though Version 1 characters Doug and Paul do make minor appearances as employees of Store Box as well.

Phantom Pains
Phantom Pains consists of Interestingly Strange comics centering on the paranormal happenings surrounding Store Box beginning with Newly Hired, Kinda Salty and its introduction of a half-ghost named Claire Cruz. This is the first major storyline to actually have a narrative, tying directly into the events of WRD, currently consisting of six specials.
In 2024, these specials were updated with new artwork and adjusted dialogue starting with Newly Hired, Kinda Salty on February 15, 2024.
