- The central characters of this comic were directly based on the main characters of Misguided, a BIONICLE-based stop-motion web series also created by Syp The Mighty. It also shares the release date of Misguided's first episode, as this comic was a tribute to that series.
- Most characters from Misguided retain their original names with the exception of BIONICLE characters Onua and Pohatu, who were replaced entirely by Galonian brothers Omuda and Momo Tronic.
- This episode shares plot elements from Beginnings, the fifth episode of Misguided.
