- Frequent contributor ids5621 joined sypsart in developing the story of this episode, particularly the latter half.
- This episode reveals Laser's real name, indicating that Canon and Espee were calling him "Larn" as an insult.
- Originally Laser was not intended to return nor was this episode going to be made, but when sypsart realized Laser was her friend jaxbeetle's favorite character she changed her mind and made this episode to reunite the CLEG crew.
- At one point, the name "Laser Beam" was going to be given to a new character who showed up to replace "Larn", but this idea was abandoned early on.
