- She is voiced by series creator sypsart in CLEG: The Video Series using her natural speaking voice.
- She is one of sypsart's oldest characters, designing the first iteration of her in 2010 as a bounty hunter named Shadowplayer, originally created as a fan character for the BIONICLE franchise. This name was shortened to SP by 2014 before being spelled phonetically as Espee by the time CLEG began development in 2017. CLEG would also reimagine her as a Galonian smuggler to remove all aspects of BIONICLE from her character.
