CLEG Crew

The CLEG Crew are a group of Andromedan smugglers and the eponymous main characters of CLEG.

Members

The name of the CLEG crew comes from the acronym for its main four members: Canon, Laser, Espee, and Gexus, though Gexus wasn't introduced until its second episode. This is because it originally stood for Cal, Larn, Espee, and Ganon, the original names for Bal, Laser, Espee, and Canon in early drafts of Smelly Space.
Bal was originally intended to be a long-lasting member, but was killed off because Syp The Mighty found it funnier to kill off a main character immediately.
Naut and Ozo were introduced because Syp wanted to have Pink and Blue as core colors of the group in addition to Orange, Green/Yellow, Red, and Purple.
The CLEG insignia that's marked on the original CLEG Ship was inspired by the Tahu Nuva symbol from BIONICLE.
