- She is voiced by series creator Syp The Mighty in the audio dub of CLEG using her natural speaking voice.
- She is one of Syp's oldest characters, designing the first iteration of her in 2010 as a bounty hunter named Shadowplayer who was a fan character for the BIONICLE franchise. This name was shortened to SP by 2014 before being spelled phonetically as Espee by the time CLEG began development in 2017. CLEG would also reimagine her as a Galonian smuggler to remove all aspects of BIONICLE from the character.
